Now in our 9th year we are so excited to announce the Coopers After Race Street Party is back on again in 2012… Saturday March the 3rd

This year looks our biggest so far, with visits and a display of Cars from The V8 Brute Ute team and the Harley Club of South Australia.

This major Family event will see Hutt Street closed down at 4:30pm between Halifax and Hume and all the action will take place out the front of the Havelock Hotel.

There will be a jumping castle for the little ones (and the Big ones) and a bunch of musical entertainment to suit everyone. We’ve got Ben Lees, The Shiny Brights and The Usual Suspects playing in the street for you. As well as DJ Vertigo to keep things rolling…check out the links below for more details.

Clipsal 500 2012

2012 Clipsal is just around the corner, and once again we will be offering tickets to our Trackside Marquee.

It’s worth mentioning we are in the same spot as previous years.. with full view of corners 1, 2 and 3 as the cars exit from pit straight.

Tickets for 2012 are $1650 for a 4 day pass.  Which includes your entry into the track and private marquee each day, and a full day of Beverages and Food from Thursday – Sunday.

Also your ticket will get you express entry back into the Havelock each night of the race, and also an invitation to our VIP Balcony Party on Saturday 3rd of March with the Hutt Street After Race Street Party going on below. (more on the street party soon)

Balcony Space

YOU are still able to have our normal full lunch menu menu today. Even though our Melbourne Cup Restaurant Bookings are full, we have the balcony our our alfresco dining tables on Hutt St. and will be serving meals from 12pm til 3pm. Racing sweeps will be available at the bar, plus $5.50 Boags Pints.

Even if you don’t bet take advantage of this fabulous day and take time out for the race that stops the nation. See you at lunch today

The havelock welcomes some new tastes to the havelock family.

Sopporo – clean crisp Japanese style premium beer.
Coopers Clear – everyday low carb from the cooper family
James Squire 150 Lashes – premium pale ale with the squires flare.

For the cider lovers we have included
Rekorderlig – delicious sweet strawberry & lime in a 500ml cider. Definitely be selfish and not share this one.
Bulmers – you have to be living under a rock if you haven’t heard of this one.
5seed Cloudy Apple – a very tasty cloudy cider, samples from staff have given it a thumbs up over original 5 seed
